Pros
Octapharma stands out from a culture standpoint compared to its competitors. It’s a tough business, but they life up to the core values even down to the center level. Regional representatives are involved but not too involved, unlike the nameless corporate overlords that many competitors have where you have no idea who works outside of your center.
Cons
In any pharmaceutical setting, line staff can really feel the effects of for-profit motivation. This can manifest in driving training people in new areas before they are ready, as well as cuts to hours / over-reliance on salaried staff to fill the gap. I think most centers handle it well, and though there are times where you need to embrace the suck, I do believe Octapharma does a far better job than their competitors in this respect.
