Pros
The best things about this place is being empowered to do better - not just for the client but for yourself. I have been brought in to work on a specific piece of a project - challenged directly by leadership to accomplish a task - and self managed clients. I was immediately recognized for my skills and the work I have done in my past usage with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In the past 4 months I have been able to do things with the tool that I never had the time or the problems that some of my clients have. I have 1 on 1 meetings with leadership and they care really care about what I say and what I contribute to the team, the clients and my work life balance. The tools constantly evolve, so it's a great way to stay on top of emerging technology.
Cons
We are a small but scrappy team, but we are mighty. Some clients are difficult, but that's not a reflection of or on OffPrem. You have to learn to say no, which can be difficult - either learn to block time on your schedule to accomplish building or you'll get stuck in working long hours to stay on top of your clients. Embrace technology for not only doing work but for "normal day to day office life". Bookmark and save. The pace can be a challenge - some clients are quick some are slow. Some skills or ideas that you have should be kept to yourself or you become the companies go to person for that, which is good and bad. No real cons unless you're not willing to be a self starter. Some clients will steer you into strategy conversations and those conversations are difficult to have when you are mostly doing implementation.
