Pros

People care about the company as much as they care about themselves Growth creates new opportunities for employees Benefits outside of pay - flexible work schedule, safe work environment, food/beverages/snacks Access to smart people daily

Cons

Growth doesn't mean working 7x24 but employees do work hard Employees will hold you accountable Doing things that will make you feel uncomfortable is normal. Stretching yourself isn't for everyone

Cons

Like many publicly traded SaaS companies, Okta has aggressive revenue targets. Employees in sales, account management, and customer success frequently note that quotas are demanding, territories can change unexpectedly during annual restructuring, and pressure to expand accounts can lead to burnout.

Pros

Great Benefits. Fantastic product. Company is scaling (or at least trying to).

Cons

Management and company culture has grown toxic. Extremely political and dramatic. Specifically in sales, marketing, and the C-Suite. I wouldn’t recommend joining okta unless you are some type of director or above and also remote. SF just RTO’d and it’s been miserable.
