Pros
You know what’s the problem with reviews? The loudest voices come from the bitter folks who were let go or weren’t performing well enough. Folks who don’t adjust well to change. These folks sit at home and throw all their anger on a bad review. Well, guess what. Integrations are hard and they require adjustment. If you’re not prepared to evolve with the company, to roll up your sleeves then go somewhere where you can clock in 9-5. This ain’t the place for you. Before you “run” as others suggested, see how many Fortune 500 companies and state/gov use Okta. Do you think that these HUGE organizations will trust a bad product or company? The product is amazing and security /identity is needed- in good and bad times. Don’t lose focus on what’s important!
Cons
The challenge is change. Bringing two companies together - two different sales teams, systems, comp structures. It’s only natural that there will be challenges and hiccups. There will be some redundancy. And also, some people aren’t built for larger companies. They don’t find themselves in the new environment. Some people used to do some things and now their job changed a bit. Some people now have a new person to report to. It is a time of change and if you don’t do well in that then don’t come to Okta; or to any high growth colony for that matter.
