Pros

Great company to work for with a diverse employment strategy and genuinely caring management. Pay is good except for this year the stock portion of salaries was eroded by the stock prices slump.

Cons

I can't think of many. They are going through a headcount freeze across all departments when this was caused by bad planning at the start of 22 with mass sales investment. Many other teams that should not have had head counts frozen are suffering.

Pros

Some people are very down to earth and make coming to the office worth it. Other than that, being an employee here nowadays is an absolute joke.

Cons

Peak toxicity coming from management. Most people here suck other than the few that are real people and not corporate “sherpa” robots. The company culture has grown more and more toxic as the days go on and product demand has slowed down. I would not work here unless it was absolutely life or death. STAY AWAY PLEASE. Go work for some AI startup or some founding role at a cool company that will value your skills and not just treat you as a number. Okta is not what Okta used to be.
