Pros

Truly the leader in IAM/CIAM - Had the opportunity to work with tons of super smart people and really awesome technical problems.

Cons

Management went downhill SO FAST post Auth0 merge. I went through several managers in my last 2 years, all of whom were some of the worst I've had. I firmly believe that I was "managed out" to make way for contractors abroad. I've never felt as wrongly done as I did on my out of Okta after 4 years there. Truly horrible.

Pros

Great Benefits. Fantastic product. Company is scaling (or at least trying to).

Cons

Management and company culture has grown toxic. Extremely political and dramatic. Specifically in sales, marketing, and the C-Suite. I wouldn’t recommend joining okta unless you are some type of director or above and also remote. SF just RTO’d and it’s been miserable.
