Pros

- Nice office in a good area of London - Benefits are solid - Fully remote - Opportunity to get great experience solving problems at scale - Excellent colleagues, especially at the IC level - Stock options

Cons

- Company feels like it's being dragged down, morale is quite low - Out of touch and inept execs. CEO is out of their depth and the rest of the c suite are more interested in hiring their friends than fixing strategy issues. - Unclear strategy/direction. Swings from each "initiative" to the next with no rhyme, reason or results - Annual layoffs are a thing - Depending on your function, career growth limited

Pros

A dynamic, fast-paced environment driven by top-tier talent and a deeply collaborative culture. The company successfully combines a high-growth startup mindset with agile execution, fostering continuous innovation and cross-functional support.

Cons

Like many publicly traded SaaS companies, Okta has aggressive revenue targets. Employees in sales, account management, and customer success frequently note that quotas are demanding, territories can change unexpectedly during annual restructuring, and pressure to expand accounts can lead to burnout.

Pros

Great Benefits. Fantastic product. Company is scaling (or at least trying to).

Cons

Management and company culture has grown toxic. Extremely political and dramatic. Specifically in sales, marketing, and the C-Suite. I wouldn’t recommend joining okta unless you are some type of director or above and also remote. SF just RTO’d and it’s been miserable.
