Pros
Amazing starting pay for experienced dock workers, benefits are pretty good. The ability to get up to 60 hours a week is great if you have bills to catch up on or whatever you need extra money for. Supervisor, and Terminal Manager is awesome. Seems like they really care about us as employees . Good hard work. More than enough tools to do your job the right way. Been at a couple trucking companies part time and this is by far the best one to work for as far as pay and equipment to do your job.
Cons
Shift hours aren't exactly ideal. Could work from anywhere from 3:30pm to 4:30pm start time anywhere from 12, 1am to 5-6am depending on what's going on that day, call offs, vacations, freight volume. Almost impossible deadlines to meet from the second you walk in till the second you leave. Enjoyable working hard though.
