Pros

The coffee is free, You will get your steps in, and there is a lot of Maintenance to Actually do, only after it breaks or falls off. Some of the Operators have been there for 18-20 yrs and do the repairs on the machines themselves.

Cons

"The way we do it here...." "It's been like that for 15 years" "We'll just wait until it burns out to change it." - Salaried position "volun-told" to work 50 hours week -Negative Toxic and Extremely "Cliquey" environment -Its a dusty place with lots of inhalation issues, but that's the nature of that type of factory. - smoking everywhere (that could be a PRO) -Operators doing the maintenance on their machines without documenting parts or what they did. -Aging Operators with no real new Staff willing to learn the machine.

Pros

Flexible enough, small and disorganized enough that they can't come down on you too hard for small stuff. Would be a decent work life balance if you didn't end up with emotional issues and anxiety spikes from essentially experiencing narc/DARVO tactics, just in a corporate group setting.

Cons

The things that leader(s) here are seemingly able to get away with in the name of leadership, the way that they talk to people and the general culture of favoritism and corporate gaslighting/punitive treatment to those who question the tactics being used here is like something out of a movie. I would caution anyone who wants their nervous system to remain intact to refrain from accepting a role here. If you do well in mean girl groups and by blindly following ruthless authoritarian politics, then go ahead and consider- you might thrive. Regardless of all that... no real room for growth/ No career mobility unless you move divisions. No "careers" here at all, at least not in marketing. if you want a paycheck and mind games, go ahead.
