Pros

The job is okay. The benefits are good. Most of the people are nice. The pay isn't as bad as other places.

Cons

Constantly working as fast as humanly possible. There is no time for a life outside of work. NEVER work just 8 hours a day. Understaffed in the pharmacy due to techs just walking out on the job because they can't take it anymore ( 3 people walked out in the last 4 months). The lead tech and the supervisor contradict each other constantly. Techs are berated on a daily basis by the lead and the supervisor. Always having "meetings" in the pharmacy. They are nothing more than an opportunity to give it to the whole staff at one time. No one ever does anything correctly according to lead tech and supervisor. No one will speak their mind during these meetings because they are afraid of how they will be treated afterwards. The constant micro-managing is going to lead to more walk-outs.

Pros

The immediate team members and supervisors are fantastic—professional, supportive, and deeply committed to accuracy and patient care. The steady workflow allows you to build strong operational proficiency and master high-volume pharmacy dynamics without direct retail customer friction.

Cons

Staffing shortages and aggressive corporate metrics frequently lead to a high-stress environment. The demand for constant speed can make the workload feel unsustainable during peak delivery cycles, making a healthy work-life balance difficult to maintain.
