Pros

-Bonuses -Annual training budget -Interesting clients

Cons

Notice the amount of positive reviews from people here less than a year. Reviews are encouraged by HR soon after new hires start as a way to boost the overall rating for recruitment. At first impression, it does seem like a great company. They love to talk big and it may seem refreshing, but if you pay attention you’ll see: -Rampant sexism, racism, nepotism, cronyism, discrimination, exploitation, exclusion, ostracism, inappropriate relationships, harassment, bullying, favoritism, and unethical behavior. -Different rules depending on who you are; no respect or boundaries. -Unequal treatment, pay, and benefits, which are non-competitive. -Self-aggrandizing senior / middle management; they refuse to deal with problems and love to gaslight concerns. I don’t even know what they do all day. -Weak HR and "people org" that is too involved in politics and drama to be taken seriously or fix anything. -Internal / external deception to employees and clients. -Everything is an emergency; constant firefighting and short-term memory lulls people into the status quo; never enough time or resources. -Being expected to take plane trips to client sites with very little notice. -Zero diversity in senior leadership, but started a DEI group so they can give the appearance that they care to applicants who ask. -Account executives over promise and teams under deliver, leading to unhappy clients. -Dishonesty; information hoarding so people can get ahead; misleading information given to clients; others taking credit for work they didn't do. -Embarrassing teammates lacking skills, qualifications, or knowledge to do the job, so they fake it and leave it to others; employees of 3+ years are the most problematic. -Low maturity departments. -Extremely high turnover with constant restarts that become exhausting, even though the company is almost 20 years old. -Management not invested in their teams, because there’s no point—re-orgs happen that frequently. -"Factory production line" mindset to software development leads to resentment among team members and poor client outcomes. -Always introducing new initiatives that are abandoned no sooner they start. -Everything—yes, everything—is viewed through the lens of a dollar sign. -Layoffs usually happen in March and September.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback; one of the highest level goals for our company is to make Cask the best place to work for our Coopers and we continue to work hard on this. As a company very focused on employee experience, we were disappointed and surprised by the extreme negativity of your review - it portrays a very different experience from so many of the other Coopers that have worked and currently work here. As a professional services company, we realize we have a huge responsibility to all our employees to be adaptable and agile in addressing our employee, client, and business needs so that our business remains viable. Being a part of a high-growth organization requires a lot of resilience and adaptability, and we understand this environment isn't for everyone. We are incredibly proud of our organization’s passion around our DEI initiatives - and are committed to continuing to build upon them to ensure an inclusive environment. We get continual feedback from so many Coopers about the positive impact of these initiatives on their day-to-day work experience. We have anonymous mechanisms in place for our team members to report potential ethical issues of any kind (i.e. Red Flag reporting) and provide feedback and ideas to our leadership team (i.e. weekly OfficeVibe surveys). We will continue to encourage our employees to use these mechanisms, in addition to supporting them directly, to reach out to our support teams and leadership directly at any time. We wish you the best in your career growth and advancement.
