Pros
Overall my experience with Onward has been great. I really like the open floor environment, and the feel is similar to a lot of the creative agencies that we partner with (I came from the creative side so this was very nice!). Management is open to suggestions and has implemented ideas that I have had on multiple occasions. It is a sales organization which is not for everyone, but everyone is nice to each other (which I have found to be rare in recruiting). As a sales professional I will always want a better commission package, but the current package is more than fair. There are company sponsored happy hours, and if you hit your goals you get to go on an all expense trip for you and a guest to the Caribbean. You need to work for it, but the goals are reasonable. I don’t feel like a robot which is nice – I am given the freedom to develop my own sales strategy, and guidance when certain things are not working. I am a bit surprised to see some of the extreme negative reviews on here to be honest.
Cons
Training has not been formalized so it can be tough for those looking for a lot of support. It is sales so it hurts when you take extended periods of time off.
