They were afraid of rocking the boat with their client. I was expensing AND not being reimbursed , for software the Fortune 500 company I was placed in should have paid for. I asked a month in advanced if I was renewed and Onward Search said I was. 1 week before the holidays, I was let go by their client. My advice to anyone reading this review; ask to see the contract renewal agreement. Don't ever take a consulting company's word. They make money by keeping you there. If you leave early, they know the chance of placing someone else is slim. I don't blame Onward Search entirely, but they shouldn't have kept telling me I'd be renewed when they really didn't know. I should have asked to see the renewal agreement. The other lie was they would help place me somewhere else. Haven't heard from them since I was let go. They're positng a jobs. I just saw that one of their employees reach out to another consultant I've worked with, from a different consulting company, with job opportunities.
