Pros
Open Solutions was a small, professional, up and coming company, made up of the very best business people and technologists. They had a unique solutions suite built around Core, great management, fantastic salespeople, and a complementary support infrastructure. Opinions were encouraged and valued, doors were always open, titles were nothing but titles, and there was only room for growth and opportunity.
Cons
Most of Open Solutions' best people have long since moved on, or at least the smart ones have. The company has grown exponentially, and for the most part management, sales, support , etc. have turned over several times. What's left is a leadership team that is somewhat disjointed, harsh and mean spirited, and focused on the company's bottom line. Which is fine, and typical of most companies these days, it's just a shame knowing how it used to be working at Open Solutions. Bottom line - if you're looking here, you could do a lot better.
