Pros

Good place to learn how to swim in a Shark tank

Cons

Too much politics, different products should be sold to one Customer with conflicting targets. If you speak up, Managament don't want to listen. All is driven by cutting costs to make balance sheet looking good. If a manager takes on a critical item, very often he/she gets promoted to a position with higher salary, less influence or get fired. Well, some of them have to pay mortgage, a car or two or other funny things. Making Barrenechea to CEO of the year was the best sarcasm joke ever. He has destroyed so many private life's, this will last for seven ore eight CEO's lifetimes. Or he's paid by competitors to kill Opentext.

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
