Pros

The only pro I have is that you can work from home, and that is only within certain departments. The benefits are good as well.

Cons

WOW, where do I start? Acquisitions are the common place, and with that comes layoffs. Even if a department is busy and thriving, you are not safe from the layoffs, as is what happened with our department, leaving a few of us left to cover the work load. You'd think with stepping up and working harder, taking on new tasks with a smile and overall just taking on double the work load you'd at least get more than a tenth of a point higher on your review!

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
