Pros

It's a really nice office to work in and the people are really lovely. Everyone is friendly and there is a really pleasant atmosphere in the office. Everyone makes an effort to get to know one another - there aren't any cliques onsite. Work-wise there is a lot flexibility, a proper work-life balance is encouraged, and we are trusted to complete work without being micro-managed. There is a lot of social activities too both on and offsite; and its always good to spend time outside the office getting to know people.

Cons

The nature of the job is that it changes quickly and you need to be able to handle that pace and adapt as necessary. It can feel a bit 'sink or swim' from time to time but it is good to have a challenge!

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
