Pros

Good benefits package and time off Working remotely

Cons

No work life balance. You will find many colleagues putting in 10-12 hour days. No upward movement or advancement unless you work in one of the 5 big offices. Waterloo, San Mateo, Munich, Singapore or India. "Center of Excellence" is code speak for cheap Indian labor. Most are short term, or don't have the needed skills. Liberal virtue signaling. Lots of jumping into leftist initiatives. Most middle and upper management positions are filled externally. Usually blwith people upper management used to work with at other companies.

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
