Pros

1. It is a company with a lot of financial discipline. They are good at acquiring and merging companies. 2. Acquired companies are turned into +ve margin and the client base is used to upsell other OT products. 3. The Perks and benefits are good. Example is travel to office and amenities in the offices. 4. Great for freshers and people to learn the technologies.

Cons

1. Slow growth in terms of career. Not for people who seek fast growth and would want to move into management or leadership positions. 2. Compensation at higher levels is average. They hire a lot of freshers and juniors and expect senior people to move on. Not a bad thing given this is a company that pays a lot of attention to financial metrics. 3. Not much innovation happens here. They acquire, maintain, support other products/companies.

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
