Pros

Work is flexible of where to work as it is hybrid. Direct Managers are easy to work with.

Cons

Job could be 100% remote, there is no reason to go into an office. Company is following mainstream thinking. Should be an innovation company but it fails to do so do to back words thinking.

Thank you for your feedback. All office-based employees have flexible working arrangements in line with our policy. Over time, we have seen that while virtual work has undeniable benefits, coming into the office brings about more creativity, innovation and collaboration.

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
