Pros

Benefits are great Job is easy Paid training

Cons

Management will lie to you about remote work and how long you have to stay on site. They will continually extend it until they have enough people to make the office look productive, worth the rent, and worth paying upper management to be in to do practically nothing all day. Diversity and protection for outlying communities is a bit of a lie. When someone did something discriminatory to me, my culture circle was cancelled right after like they were trying to prevent me from warning others of the some of the bigots who work on site.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that there may have been some confusion regarding working remotely. It is standard that training be onsite, and afterwards, working remotely depends on the role and the performance of the individual. Regarding any discrimination you feel that you experienced, please note that Optima has a strict zero-tolerance policy against harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and bullying and takes all complaints seriously. We ask that you please get in touch with our HR department at HROps@optimataxrelief.com to provide further information regarding your experience so that we can look into the matter further.

Pros

Flexible for the most part (for now) Happy that there are less agents. i just hope they don't over hire once or if it gets busier. Hope there are improvements and environment gets better like the old Optima days.

Cons

-Not much culture left. -Taken away bonuses. keeps getting worse and more strict rules and changes. -Wish they would have a rule where employees who drive far have more opportunity to work from home again. I personally do better and wouldn't have to waste so much time on the road in traffic. i can spend more time with family and I could be working more if anything.... As long as the money is still decent during slow times and I'm not going into my savings. Then we're good. I hope it gets busy again and they don't over hire once it does.... -Servicing/back-end needs to do better work. Us sales agent's and company lose A LOT of money due to this. Has been giving our company a bad name/brand. We are not the only company out there anymore. there's a lot of competition. Hopefully they listen to their employees since we also deal with the back lash from the back end complaints. Not cool for our clients to spend a lot of money and be ignored afterwards.
