Pros

You get paid, you work from home.

Cons

You're squeezed to death, every month the goals are very competitive to reach (purposely done to not pay their employees commission.) If you don't hit a goal threshold you won't be paid commission and zero out. Additionally the department is a DEI nightmare, they know the department has a culture issue. There's a total of 4 supervisors in the department and to which they're very opened to trash talk each other under the umbrella that it's being 'competitive' however they feed into a toxic work culture. The whole management (Manager > Director) in the department is incompetent not to mention we use systems that are outdated. They expect you to sell Optimum Mobile as the only real way to make commission in the department and you're faced against our horrible systems to process an order. The work culture in this department is so bad that their most veteran employees are looking for a way out and more to resign. The department will be shifted into an all BPO (Outsourced) and reps from Texas as this is cheaper labor pushing out all the seasoned Northeastern agents. The sales goals are adjusted monthly and they go by last year statistics and will never be adjusted even if the department has gotten a lesser Sales Traffic then anticipated from last year statistics. This is purposely done again so the ratio can be a 2:5 of paid commissions vs not paid commissions to save money for the company. As expected in any corporate job, management is oblivious about the work culture they have created. If you want to ride a sinking ship to the ground then join! If you're not desperate yet for a job I'd say look elsewhere as you'll be job hunting fairly quickly. Oh, also you will get 2 paid holidays off the whole year. Be prepared to work even on New Years Day.

Pros

Peers were kind, supportive, and friendly. Ok compensation.

Cons

Leadership was constantly changing and bringing in new employees to fix issues that wouldn't be fixed by them; the company's strategy wasn't on point. Slow promotions and career development/advancement.
