Great company culture, but compensation and growth opportunities need work - Manager Option Care Health Employee Review

Pros

Supportive environment and solid team culture. Annual bonuses are offered. Some departments (like Pharmacy) have structured roles with clear steps.

Cons

Salaries haven’t kept up with market rates — employees hired before 2020 are now paid well below industry averages. Annual raises are only 2–3%, which doesn’t reflect performance or cost of living. Bonuses are taxed heavily, so the take-home amount doesn’t significantly improve pay. Limited career growth in certain departments — in some teams the path ends at manager/supervisor, with the only next step being director (a position that rarely opens). Hard for long-term employees to feel valued or see a path forward without changes in pay structure and internal mobility.

Pros

Compensation and annual bonus structure

Cons

Despite the fact that leadership touts patient centered care—their actions prove they only care about one thing: profits. Every metric, KPI, and action item is solely focused around maximizing profits. Severely understaffed teams and lack of support from leadership leaves teams vulnerable to mistakes. Also office politics matter way more than anything else. If your leadership likes you? You can do no wrong and everything will be swept under the rug. If they feel threatened by you? You can rest assured you will micromanaged and managed out. A once great company has morphed into a money grab. But that’s also what you expect when you have a COO who has zero operational experience.
