Pros

Steady paycheck. Interesting work, cultivated skills I would not get elsewhere. Less phone calls for techs than retail. You also get to learn a lot of things.

Cons

Bad benefits. Poor management Poor morale Zero work/life balance A sea of extremely overwhelmed and frustrated people scrambling to get things done. It's impossible to get your job done without coming in early and staying late daily.

Despite the fact that leadership touts patient centered care—their actions prove they only care about one thing: profits. Every metric, KPI, and action item is solely focused around maximizing profits. Severely understaffed teams and lack of support from leadership leaves teams vulnerable to mistakes. Also office politics matter way more than anything else. If your leadership likes you? You can do no wrong and everything will be swept under the rug. If they feel threatened by you? You can rest assured you will micromanaged and managed out. A once great company has morphed into a money grab. But that’s also what you expect when you have a COO who has zero operational experience.
