Pros

Newly decorated facility with uplifting colors, new conference rooms and large break room. 2 monitors for every employee. Great talent in each department.

Cons

Although the style of the Director is one that expects for his people to know his expectations the management under him know very little about what they want. They micromanage and are never quite satisfied with your accomplishments. They are always concerned about what you have not done. They distrust their employees to the point that they need to be involved with the circulation of a birthday card.

Despite the fact that leadership touts patient centered care—their actions prove they only care about one thing: profits. Every metric, KPI, and action item is solely focused around maximizing profits. Severely understaffed teams and lack of support from leadership leaves teams vulnerable to mistakes. Also office politics matter way more than anything else. If your leadership likes you? You can do no wrong and everything will be swept under the rug. If they feel threatened by you? You can rest assured you will micromanaged and managed out. A once great company has morphed into a money grab. But that’s also what you expect when you have a COO who has zero operational experience.
