Pros

Autonomy. Salary is high. Some good staff.

Cons

Don't believe any lines about "passionate people partnering in health to delivery extraordinary care." It is pure crap. This company doesn't care about patients at all, it cares about profits above all else. Management from the local level to the regional level to the corporate level has drunk the Kool_Aid. Not one of them has an independent thought in their heads. The Peter Principle is alive and well here. Too many people in positions they don't belong in. Benefits are crap- PTO is less than any other healthcare organization I've worked for and they steal any remaining balance at the end of the year. Health insurance has been cut significantly in the past 2 years.

Pros

Compensation and annual bonus structure

Cons

Despite the fact that leadership touts patient centered care—their actions prove they only care about one thing: profits. Every metric, KPI, and action item is solely focused around maximizing profits. Severely understaffed teams and lack of support from leadership leaves teams vulnerable to mistakes. Also office politics matter way more than anything else. If your leadership likes you? You can do no wrong and everything will be swept under the rug. If they feel threatened by you? You can rest assured you will micromanaged and managed out. A once great company has morphed into a money grab. But that’s also what you expect when you have a COO who has zero operational experience.
