Pros
Great co workers, supportive team members. you can set your own schedule for the most part. I loved working with my patients. they are just so appreciative for you just being there to help them during their difficult times.
Cons
sometimes it can be hectic with unpredictable staffing issues and last minute patient add ons. Need to learn to set boundaries with patients or they will call you at all hours of the day. also as an infusion nurse there is not much room for growth . You can get better at your skills but other than that you just stay at the position you are at, with incremental pay increases. you can feel stagnant if you are someone who wants to keep growing.
