Pros
-Work from home (while you still can, starting to require majority in office days) -Flexible time off -Semi-flexible work schedule
Cons
-Communication - You better hope you never need another department to work with you on something, or god forbid educate you about something. They don't care why you reached out, they just want you to know it's not their problem. No one cares about the delays they create, they just don't want the "problem" on their plate... No one gets in Optiv's way like Optiv. -Training - Once you have your new-hire on boarding there is no specific training. Oh, you want more info? Here's an email you already have that wasn't helpful the first time. -Management - Management style here is a never ending stream of emails telling you how to do your job with bits of negativity sprinkled in to make sure you know you're replaceable. When you start to see good people quit a company without another job even lined up, you know it's bad. Comradery - There is none. Culture - There is none. Whether it's the intent or not, people can only take so much negativity.
