Gender diversity in Optiv is definitely lacking. Optiv has implied that diversity is a main focus however only one of nine positions in the C-Suite is filled by a female so you tell me. The past 3 or 4 high level positions filled and communicated company wide for the past few months were filled by males. My department is mostly male and I question if I will be able to move up due to my gender. My qualifications and proven performance outweigh most of my coworkers and this is still something I think about almost daily.
Departments are siloed and direct leadership is not transparent.
There’s a lack of enforced work standard (no quality assurance departments) leading to inefficiencies and inaccuracies in our processes across the board but especially in our systems.
