Pros
On face value, if you are in a role that they need (and can't outsource to India) then they will keep you and treat you well.
Cons
There's quite a bit of shady going on in their quest for world domination. In September they did a RIF and forced an entire department to sign a non-disparagement agreement (which was just made illegal). Essentially, we weren't even allowed to talk to our coworkers about being let go in a hush hush, overnight way for no reason other than they were outsourcing our jobs to India for cheaper wages. We were threatened with losing our severance if we talked to anyone about anything. The whole thing left me feeling super creeped out and like I did something wrong when I had been working like a Hebrew slave for months to meet their quotas and win new work from existing customers who already had bad experiences with Optiv. In the end, we were highly trained resources that cost more than India and it was an easy decision for management to decide they want cheap and dirty over quality at a fair price.
