Pros

I recently joined Optiv at the beginning of August, during my short tenure here I have quickly assimilated into my role as Solution Architect and have created a bond with my team here in South Florida. Prior to coming on-board I was a loyal FishNet Security customer since 2008. I kept recommending FishNet as a partner wherever I landed because of their technical capabilities, honesty, and vendor agnostic approach to recommending solutions. I can honestly say that Optiv follows the same principles and has also added a mission, "Create confidence for a more connected world." My management and colleagues support my efforts with helping customers find a true partner to collaborate on projects and services. Optiv has even developed a comprehensive security program to help customers gauge their maturity level in terms of Information Security. I'm very happy to be a part of the Optiv family and able to provide the same help and guidance to my customers as I received in the past!

Cons

Since the Accuvant and FishNet merger recently completed, I found that not all internal systems have completely merged and there has been some delay with obtaining proper access to certain applications. It's obvious that these are just growing pains and should be behind us in the coming months.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Supportive Management Depending on who you get Good work life balance as long as you don't take the job with you after hours Work from Home Hands on Training - could still use improvement Annual pay increase

Cons

2 layoffs in a year when they keps saying everything was fine.... Laying off core contributors so now everyone who is left is doing the work of 2-3 people and not being compensated accordingly Only way to get a worth while pay increase is to move up in the company the annual increases are not inline with inflation or cost of living
