Pros
my direct reports were/are good- supportive, my previous manager was honest, and I really appreciated that. My colleagues have been supportive throughout emotionally and psychologically stressful times. Generous PTO although the process of requesting, reporting and recording seemed ridiculous.
Cons
leadership was totally not transparent about role and responsibility changes, salary and changes in incentive structures during and following massive layoffs + general radical restructuring. Position role and responsibilities were changed/increased, some colleagues' shift times we changed to overnight hours with no pay increase or shift differential although the cohort team we were being "aligned" with/assumed into, likely are paid more; leadership would not comment on pay discrepancies. Work environment was virtual but somehow, still toxic. It felt like a narcissistic relationship. the incentive bonus changes resulted in about a 10k annual decrease in salary.
