Pros
- Strong health benefits - Strong focus on bottom line profitability
Cons
- Complete management through fear, no decision making enabled at management or field level. All comes from SVP level and above. - No internal accountability, individuals are not driven to succeed just to avoid perception of failure which will lead to firing. - No risk / reward. "The nail that sticks up, gets hammered down" - Extremely compartmentalized organizational approach (no end to end ownership) - Very poor / non-existent internal communication, no focus on customer - President through VP level very commonly swears incessantly and berates management and field resources in individual meetings (ala. Glengarry Glen Ross). Very disrespectful. - Not a company that rewards top performers and dynamic problem solvers, intentionally drive those individuals out of the organization, so they can pay less for wheel-turners.
