Pros
Very laid back. Overall great benefit package(except 401k which I'll explain later). Very good upper management/administration. When you mix two huge fields of employment, medical industry+technology, you get great job stability and security overall. Frequent company meetings focused on not only where the company and industry as a whole are heading, but also for employee recognition. A word of caution/advice: This job can be very difficult, especially if you start in technical support. You really have to earn your stripes and work very hard, but if you do that, then you options for advancement are plenty! Work hard, play hard! Speaking of play hard, in the spring and summer seasons we'll often have "meat can" Fridays, where everyone can throw down $5, and that money goes toward cookout grub for a nice Friday lunch!
Cons
Nothing major. 401k could be better(no matching at the moment), but at least we have a retirement fund program. This doesn't happen all of the time, but I have seen some favoritism in some areas or advancement/promotion. Honestly, though, this is probably fairly prevalent in a lot of other companies as well. The salary for some positions could be slightly better based off of national averages, but that's exactly what those are. Averages. Not that the salaries are bad, but in this economy they could be a little better. These are all just minor nit picks, but as far as major cons I can't think of a single one.
