Pros

Some incredible colleagues and opportunities to learn (great for your resume & if you are client facing in any way, it's an incredible exposure to how other business operate). Used to have incredible collaboration and appetite for entrepreneurial initiatives.

Cons

Business is struggling through stepwise growth phase. Eyes for growth are bigger than its ability to drive and effectively execute said growth or change. Lots of new leaders onboard to support the vision, but no structural adjustments to support the significant work involved - let alone support the base business and regular revenue driving work. When leadership begins to make things personal (blaming employees directly, ghosting as valid daily business questions are asked, over surveillance of task work) rather than look at the business problem at hand and working as an organization to get through the growth spurt...I'd say it's time to watch your back and brace for impact.

Pros

The only pro of this company is the fully remote work (which also comes with its cons).

Cons

It’s a long list: 1. Micromanagement 2. Politics 3. Promoting long time buddies (with no skills) over skilled young professionals. 4. Ignoring company values when it comes to internal mechanics. Suddenly things aren’t important enough if it doesn’t make you money. 5. Complete misalignment between sales, product and engineering. They sell everything that’s not even in the pipeline for product. 6. The CPO and VP of Product are circus heads, not real professionals. 7. People with different opinions aren’t appreciated. 8. Slack and Outlook tools are monitored for status and location just to come up with any reason for layoffs. 10. Base comp is okay at first but then capped strongly.
