Pros
the food is great and i personally like to work at the restaurant where I can truly sell the food I like. The organizational system is awesome, everything is thought through and there is little room for mistake. Training was very thorough and informative. Their cleaning procedures are just perfect, you could probably eat off the floors as every single surface is cleaned daily, the walls are cleaned weekly. Another good part is not having to handle guest checks, cashier takes care of payments which makes server's work more efficient and fast because the restaurant is VERY fast paced and often really busy. overall the company was great to work for: nice coworkers, great food, exceptional management and company standards
Cons
the biggest con of the particular restaurant I worked for is the owner himself. He might be a good manager, but a lousy person. He acted like the king and was almost never open to dialogue, treating every employee like a little misbehaving kid. Although he was great with guests and really knew what he was doing around dining room and kitchen alike, his lack of good communication with his staff has led to a lot of problems. several servers walked out (which of course does not make them right, but still) or quit. He would yell and tell you to shut up if you wanted to voice your opinion, not willing to listen to anything. it is his way or highway. and in my opinion that is not a good way of managing a large professional team
