Pros

Although the company promotes professionalism, it's a very relaxed atmosphere. They are very family oriented and support their employees in that regard. They offer great benefits that include health, dental, vision, 401k, and pension.

Cons

Unless you have a college degree or have worked there 20+ years, you will not get very far within the company. Even then there is not much room for growth. Also, unless you are upper management compensation is not terribly competitive.

Cons

Communication among team and management could have been improved. When position is eliminated due to economic times, you are let go with no severance. Even though Indiana is an “at-will” employment state: generally an employer or employee can end employment at any time for any reason. Although, many employers choose to offer severance when they terminate someone for reasons other than misconduct or performance, Oscar Winski does not. I would highly recommend when searching for a company to always look at their severance policy. Review your employment agreement or handbook: Does it promise severance? What are the conditions (years of service, reasons for termination, etc)?
