Pros

Amazing mission centered around helping everyone living with digestive (GI) conditions have a higher quality of life by giving them better access to the help they need. Strong company culture centered around its core values. Very direct and open team and communication is the goal, along with high levels of teamwork and support for one another. Good health benefits coverage for a very early stage company Supported work-from-home and remote work prior to COVID and leaning into it through the pandemic and beyond Really great, caring and passionate team of people to work with

Cons

It's a startup trying to get a lot done with limited resources, so the work is intense and goals are high, but it's very rewarding seeing it all come together. Just be ready to work hard and make sure to communicate openly. You may be pushed beyond your comfort zone, but will learn along the way and build new skills.

Pros

Fantastic team working together for a good mission. Oshi’s model of care is exceptional and the Providers work hard for their patients. Solid Leadership and company values are being practiced daily.

Cons

Typical start-up speed, some might struggle with that if they haven’t experienced that culture before. Balance provider feedback with data for decisions.

Pros

Oshi serves a population that is in great need and the work itself can be meaningful. Many team members are dedicated, collaborative, and genuinely invested in helping clients improve. When teamwork was supported, collaboration across clinicians helped clients make real progress and feel well cared for. The mission has strong potential and fills an important gap in services

Cons

Despite the importance of the work, productivity was consistently prioritized over clinician wellbeing. Caseloads and performance expectations were often unsustainable, with limited attention to burnout, work–life balance, or long-term sustainability. There was also pressure to stretch or work at the edges of licensing and scope-of-practice restrictions, which created ethical concerns and placed clinicians in uncomfortable professional positions. Overall, the emphasis on output and growth outweighed support for clinicians and regulatory integrity.
