Pros
Culture is respectful and collaborative. People understand we are all working towards the same goals and work as a team. Overall the quality of the employees feels high. I have learned a lot from working here. People team puts a lot of work into keeping the team connected even when most people are remote. They are thoughtful with how they hire and onboard which makes a big impact on how it feels to log on everyday.
Cons
Not all people managers or team leads are created equal, as with any organization. There are some senior roles who appear to deliver less than their more junior counterparts. This could be a factor of over-leveling early hires or unclear expectations for roles where the exec is not close enough to the work to understand what the right expectations should be. I think some of this will get better as the company matures because it is already improved from where it was when I joined.
