Pros

The technology is cutting edge. How they are trying to treat cancer is revolutionary. There is no other company that is doing what they are doing.

Cons

The company is poorly managed. They hired several people in 2022 and 2023. Then they laid off a third of the work force in July of 2024. It’s the most sexist company I have been employed by and I have been employed by several companies over my decades of employment. They do not treat males equally the same as females. It’s also the most anti-Christian company that I have experienced in my years of employment. If you are a Christian male, please be aware if you are seeking employment. The HR person at the Indianapolis facility is extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The benefits and salary are average at best.

Ossium Health Response

Thank you for sharing your review. We appreciate your feedback and take all employee experiences seriously. We're proud of our cutting-edge technology and revolutionary approach to cancer treatment that saw us treat our first patients with cryopreserved bone marrow this past year. However, we acknowledge the challenges you've highlighted; 2024 was a year with high highs and low lows. The July layoffs were a difficult but necessary business decision that we did not undertake lightly, and we understand the impact on our team as well as those whose roles were cut. As an organization firmly rooted in science, we view individual religious beliefs and practices as deeply personal matters that don't have a place in daily workplace operations. We support every employee’s right to their beliefs, and our focus remains on maintaining a professional environment where work performance is what matters, and where Ossies from diverse backgrounds can collaborate to achieve incredible results. Personnel decisions are made based strictly on performance and company impact, true to our company values. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

There are so many smart, talented people at Ossium. It’s clear that everyone really cares about the mission and wants to help patients in need of transplant or allograft.

Cons

Salaries are sometimes low, but they’ve been increasing over time

Pros

The pay is quite the the salary for interns. Now I know why!

Cons

Interns, staff, and trainee get harassed in the workplace all the time! It's always been a big issue that's been constantly thrown under the rug whenever someone comes forward to complain about it! And every time someone complains about any of those in position, management will do everything they can to cover it up! Anyone interested in working here, there's only one word for you: BEWARE!!
