Pros
- Across the board, everyone that I work with is smart, driven, and passionate about the company. There isn't a day that goes by that I am not impressed by the individuals that I get to work with. - As an individual still early in my professional career (5+ working years) I have gotten to get involved in a wide array of development projects and contribute to the growth of multiple departments within the company. - While there are plenty of obstacles to overcome as a fast growing company, management continues to reaffirm their commitment to the employees. Things don't always move the fastest, but they have shown by their actions over time that they are invested in creating a positive culture, supporting employees, and hiring individuals that will contribute to the work environment that they want to foster. - Leadership is focused on creating a clear roadmap for employees to see what future org charts will look like, what opportunities at the company will look like and what projects are underway. This has helped create a lot of clarity for lower level employees to see what their growth at the company could look like.
Cons
- As the company has grown very fast in the last year, and hiring was stunted by COVID, work life balance can be an issue as there is a lot of work to get done. However, management is receptive to conversations about managing work loads to fit your schedule. - Most employees in SF don't currently have stock options, though management has reaffirmed the effort change this in the near future. - Org charts and roadmaps are changing constantly which can be confusing and overwhelming for some individuals. - Remote work has isolated some departments from one another.
