Pros
Decent people in mid and lower management up until VPs who are empathetic and care for their teams. Comfortable working hours. The product is good and is the major reason why the company has been doing well so far. HR and back office teams are good to work with.
Cons
Senior leadership (c-suite and SVPs) are inept and disconnected from the rest of the workforce and slowly creating a toxic environment in which only a few people know of the critical decisions being taken. There seem to be a lot of cliques within the org. Decisions being made lack process and are not driven by data or merit. They are made by a few people at the top and handed down to the rest of the organization. This has led to the rest of the org feeling estranged from leadership and confused about which direction the company is going. The company has grown significantly in the last few years and only now being tested with the changing marketing conditions. The work culture was great in positive times but now it has become toxic with leaders blaming each other on what's wrong rather than teaming to solve for issues together. This has led to employees constantly working under pressure and concerned they will get laid off sooner than later.
