Pros
Some really talented people work there doing great work when they're given the chance
Cons
For the past 4 years the promise of an IPO has been the answer to the question: "Why do you work here?" As we can all see the market is no longer receptive to any company's IPO. And the loss of that promise is like the loss of a loved one. First was denial (Q2 - there are no problems keep marching forward) Currently I believe Outreach is in phase 2 - Anger. This has led to a lot of the behaviors you seen in the most recent reviews. The firing of long term sales leadership - CRO among others. You see it in the way the CEO speaks to the employees. Telling folks he's not interested in retaining them, but interested in their revenue contribution only. You also see it with the CEO literally ripping up people's work product. He's a bully who won't tolerate dissent. The rest of the C-suite isn't dumb and know that getting in line and mirroring his behavior is the only way to avoid being the target of the outburst. Lastly, people have always been a means to the company's enrichment. The human is spoken about as a 'resource' to be depleted, used up, and discarded. I believe everyone should be able to be their authentic self at work. I also believe the CEO is being his authentic self. It just happens to be rotten and now people see it as the public persona he built has been removed
