Pros
I'm really really really really happy here. It's everything my last start-up job wasn't. The team atmosphere is collaborative, managers are supportive of growth and development, and the company culture is phenomenal (even working remotely in a different city). Everyone is really friendly and there's an effort to develop friendships/social connection between colleagues. It's also really cool to be part of a company doing so well in its early years and only going upwards. People team just added a monthly Fringe stipend so each person can choose which benefits they want to take advantage of.
Cons
A lot of processes haven't been fully developed yet (start-up life), so it's important to be comfortable with that (especially during the new hire ramp up process) and to be willing to take on projects to support the growth of the business. For me personally, I usually like having the option to go into the office to have that in-person social connection, but I do love the flexibility remote work offers. Also, Owner puts in effort to bond coworkers so I don't feel isolated like I have in past remote roles.
