Pros

WFH, 401K matching is good

Cons

Terrible Management, Ignorant of many issues at the company not managing employees only focused on themselves to stay afloat, that selfish culture will eventually drive the company out of business as more employees will be leaving the company, no one cares about what people say anymore, everyone runs for themselves, there are no raises, no bonuses, work is being sent offshore, many key people left or been forced to leave, nobody seems to give a crap anymore about managing people, improving the culture, improving teamwork, none of that it is only about numbers and stupid hours and checking of tasks in JIRA. Management is not interested in improving things only in finding fault and when they do they blame it on someone creating more negativity around the company, in the end fleeing running what they say just run from a toxic place is all one can do because there is simply zero hope in changing things because management is like a cult that has its powers wrapped around all employees like a giant octopus controlling all people one can only hope this place just goes down all together

PDX Response

There is nothing of greater value to our company than our employees. Our employees are the reason why PDX is the longest standing company in the United States in providing software and services to pharmacies for the past 36 years. I welcome any and every opportunity to speak directly with an employee about concerns or questions they may have about our company operations and strategy as well as offer my views on what is taking place in the industry. Healthcare, particularly the retail pharmacy space, is undergoing change at a pace it has never experienced before. This has required that our companies make substantial investments in the research and development of new products and services that will allow our partners to remain competitive. The leadership of our company looks for every way possible to reward our staff for their contributions while also making such large investments in R&D. A couple examples include greatly expanding our work from home policy and continuing to offer what I believe are very competitive insurance benefits and 401K matching. Although we have had employees leave our company, with a workforce that numbers in excess of 600 employees, that is not unexpected. I also know many individuals that have left the company, only to return later as a result of the culture they missed when they left PDX.
