Pros
-Ability to move up in the company -Good Benefits
Cons
The company has gone downhill fast over the last 2 years. The CEO does not run the company, Tammy Darvish does. Unfortunately, she is a power-hungry, egotistical micro-manager. If you have ideas or creativity, do not work here. PenFed is only looking for sheeple who will blindly follow the angry orders of upper management. The problem is, the entire upper management team is made up of ex-car salespeople with no financial experience whatsoever. They spend most of their day playing politics instead of communicating and developing their teams or products. The secretly-scheming tactics of upper management continue to drain employee morale. If you were to walk into a service center and talk to 100 or so employees, 95% of them will tell you how unhappy, stressed out, and underappreciated they feel. The managers are treated with no respect, lied about, and disposed of at whim. There are plenty of banking organizations out there that will treat you better, pay you more, and respect your time there.
