Pros

The account managers are really great. Everyone gets on well

Cons

Management are so rude, and are so far removed, they don’t have any idea what is going on. Client services is a dwindling division with lots of people wanting to leave. The staff are not treated nicely and management that don't even speak to the floor have favourites who sit right outside the important offices. At every opportunity, the business makes a point of setting impossible targets so people are not paid. Pay reviews are not given and they do not look after the staff to try and keep people happy. We have many meetings about changes being made, then changes are removed again. On a daily basis, there is someone else getting upset. I feel sorry for people that aren’t in the favourites club as people are trying their best and always punished.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t been as positive as we’d hope — particularly after several years with us. It’s disappointing to hear that you’ve felt unsupported, as that’s absolutely not the culture or environment we aim to create. We’d really like to understand more about the issues you’ve mentioned, especially around pay reviews, communication, and team morale, so we can take your feedback on board and address any gaps. Please reach out to HR@phmg.com or speak confidentially to your HR Business Partner — your insight would be incredibly valuable, especially given your time and experience here. We truly appreciate your contribution to PHMG and hope we can work together to make positive changes. — People & Culture Team, PHMG

Pros

My experience at PHMG has been such a fun and rewarding opportunity, especially for someone with little to no experience in sales. It’s a great place to learn, grow, and build confidence while being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. The culture is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is very welcoming and approachable, always willing to answer questions or offer advice. Since it’s a great starting point for someone new to sales, you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone. The team is supportive, and there are so many opportunities to learn from the people around you. I’ve also really enjoyed the networking opportunities and getting to connect with so many different people across the company. PHMG does a great job creating a fun environment where people work hard but also enjoy what they do. Overall, it’s been an amazing place to start a sales career and build a strong foundation. The skills, relationships, and experience you gain here can set you up for success in future sales roles as well.

Cons

none! I loved my time here.

Pros

PHMG is a great place to breakout in a sales role and gain experience. They offer a 15 week training program called the Academy, where you get first hand coaching, product knowledge and training, and dive head first into an SDR role with constant feedback and support. You also get the commission you earn right away, with a lot of potential to earn extra cash and fun events such as President's club. I was able to attend after my first month and they really want you to experience the fun incentives. Once you graduate the Academy they move you over to a team on the senior sales floor where you still receive constant coaching and support. The team environment is motivating and keeps each day exciting. Everyone is always there to lift you up and keep pushing you to succeed. The culture and environment here is like no other and I was lucky enough to find some of my closest friends at this role. Definitely a work hard play hard mentality where we celebrate the small and big wins daily.

Cons

It is a grind, there are going to be hard days where motivation is hard. It is very metrics focused and you will be cold-calling all day everyday. Kind of the typical entry level role that comes with sales.
