Pros

They hire good account managers

Cons

Leadership are completely out of touch, on a power trip and have no idea what the job involves. Most have never done it themselves but still act high and mighty. They can take zero criticism and sulk like little boys if you dare to offer your ideas as a lowly account manager to the superior managers. Ther is no trust and no genuine care for employees and no clear direction. Decisions come from the top with no thought or care as to how employees are effected with no critical thinking, no reasons as to why we are asked to do what we do and the whole department is built on hierarchy of yes men. Feedback sessions are purely performative. The culture is toxic and overly controlled. Micromanagement dominates every aspect of the job, quality control are listening to each call you make to pull apart every inch of the work you do. But you can't give any kind of quality output when you are expected to manage hundreds of clients with no support. You are monitored nonstop and given no flexibility and treated like a child. Morale is at rock bottom. Do I even need to say this look at the reviews. Everyone on the team is looking for a new job, even newer starters. Pay. At the end of the day, we come to work to earn a living and it is that simple. People genuinely want to do well and make money but that is impossible when the company keeps setting targets tied to things we can’t control. Give people a fair opportunity to succeed instead of punishing them for issues handled by other teams. If you want motivated employees start by creating a system that actually rewards hard work rather than exploiting it. To make matters worse you respond to bad reviews on here by telling staff to “speak to the council” but when managers are council representatives, thats absurd.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. This isn’t the kind of experience we want for anyone on our team. We take all concerns seriously, and there are several avenues available to raise and resolve them. We always encourage speaking with your direct line manager in the first instance, but if you don’t feel comfortable doing so, our Workplace Champions are available to offer confidential support and guidance on next steps. Alternatively, the formal grievance procedure, available in the Employee Handbook, can also be followed.

Pros

My experience at PHMG has been such a fun and rewarding opportunity, especially for someone with little to no experience in sales. It’s a great place to learn, grow, and build confidence while being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. The culture is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is very welcoming and approachable, always willing to answer questions or offer advice. Since it’s a great starting point for someone new to sales, you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone. The team is supportive, and there are so many opportunities to learn from the people around you. I’ve also really enjoyed the networking opportunities and getting to connect with so many different people across the company. PHMG does a great job creating a fun environment where people work hard but also enjoy what they do. Overall, it’s been an amazing place to start a sales career and build a strong foundation. The skills, relationships, and experience you gain here can set you up for success in future sales roles as well.

Cons

none! I loved my time here.

Pros

PHMG is a great place to breakout in a sales role and gain experience. They offer a 15 week training program called the Academy, where you get first hand coaching, product knowledge and training, and dive head first into an SDR role with constant feedback and support. You also get the commission you earn right away, with a lot of potential to earn extra cash and fun events such as President's club. I was able to attend after my first month and they really want you to experience the fun incentives. Once you graduate the Academy they move you over to a team on the senior sales floor where you still receive constant coaching and support. The team environment is motivating and keeps each day exciting. Everyone is always there to lift you up and keep pushing you to succeed. The culture and environment here is like no other and I was lucky enough to find some of my closest friends at this role. Definitely a work hard play hard mentality where we celebrate the small and big wins daily.

Cons

It is a grind, there are going to be hard days where motivation is hard. It is very metrics focused and you will be cold-calling all day everyday. Kind of the typical entry level role that comes with sales.
