Pros
I joined PHMG around 2 and half years ago and since then I've seen the company go from strength to strength, not only in the UK but around the world. Since I joined the pace at which to company has improved on its services and introduced new products is in a league of its own for branding. The company has also grown massively in size, taking over a second floor and opening a north american office in the space of two years. The product itself is the best in the market by some margin and the marketing that accompanies it is second to none. Take a look at the website to get the ball rolling, you won't see any collateral below that standard. Each branding touchpoint its meticulously planned and executed to a world class standard, this is due to the talent that is in the marketing department. The whole companies work ethic and values are based on, hard work, continuous improvement and irrational commitment - and this is clear from the moment you walk through the doors in both the Manchester, London and now Chicago offices. Every staff member is there to graft and each department sticks to the company values to keep producing world class work. This doesn't mean however that its all work no play at PHMG, far from it. Aside from the numerous lavish work conferences, Xmas party and annual summer soirée at haydock racecourse, the culture at PHMG is that of a very social place to work. After work drinks are common and the introduction of the two work sports teams, netball and football (both of which play at a high standard) provide another opportunity for employees to interact with each other outside of work. In my time at PHMG I worked with a lot of great colleagues who I now call good friends, if it wasn't for my will to travel I would certainly still be there working my way up the career ladder. The opportunites to further yourself at PHMG are always there, this is something the company strives upon - promoting people from within. I loved my time at PHMG, I learnt a lot from all of my colleagues there and was given many opportunities to succeed and progress within my role. With the talent that's there and the mind set of each of them, its hard not to better yourself. You get out what you put in with this company, so for those willing to put a shift in this place is certainly for you. I don't know what the future holds but if I do end up back in Manchester, I'll certainly be hoping to work there once again.
Cons
It can get busy on a match day (week night games for Manchester United) however its not uncommon for you to be sat in the stands watching those games in the executive seats, if you have excelled in your role. So i can't really say its a negative!
