Pros
Im in corporate sales now, very high end stuff and earning a great wage with a huge salary. In comparison, a total breeze to my time at PHMG. That said, my hard work ethic came from my time there. I do miss the buzz of the office. Here's the deal. PHMG is a relic of old school sales. It's very, very hard graft and in no way a PC culture! Only the hard workers are rewarded and the weak are shown the door. It may be a bit extreme but I honestly think the modern sales culture could learn to pull some of that mentality back. I never got into trouble at PH, I grafted and got paid a very fair commission. It's a simple one that doesn't try and trick you with overly complicated KPIs (most companies try to pull the wool over the eyes of their employees). There was constant banter and a real buzz there. Expect strong language and lots of noise. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then go elsewhere. The only place I've ever worked where the MD smiles, chats to his staff and is actually liked - this is appreciated. I learn allot here and now have a very cushy job, allot of successful people have come from that place. Think of it as a sales school, but be prepared to FIGHT.
Cons
I suppose if you aren't the right fit (and by that I mean are not prepared to work) then you could list loads. As I said, if you are not prepared to graft then don't even bother. If you are lazy or easily offended, you are going to hate it.
